Does my image get uploaded?
No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Nothing is sent to any server.
What is "Crop to fill"?
The image is scaled until it fills the target frame and cropped from the center. The result exactly matches the chosen dimensions with no whitespace.
What is "Fit inside"?
The image is scaled down to fit entirely within the target frame, preserving the aspect ratio. Empty space is filled with white (JPG) or transparency (PNG/WebP).
Should I compress after resizing?
Yes — click "Compress it" to send the resized image directly to PuffPix's compressor for further file size reduction.
